ST. ALi Italian Film Festival 2023
The 24th edition of Australia’s most passionate film festival features an incredible selection of new Italian cinema including all three Italian films that screened In Competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, a lineup brimming with the best films from contemporary Italian auteurs and female filmmakers, a retrospective and many special events.
Our Opening Night selection sees us heading north with The Last Night of Amore, a Milan-set thriller starring the magnificent Pierfrancesco Favino. Showcasing a different side of Italy, we travel away from stereotypes and clichés and head to the Lombardy capital for a change of pace.
The ST. ALi Italian Film Festival presented by Palace returns in 2023 with a curated selection of films showcasing the best contemporary cinema from Italy. This edition of the Festival will screen nationally in Australia from 19 September - 25 October.
